10 Most-Loved Orange Polishes

Hello there fellow polish-lovers!  Continuing this series- I have my 10 most-loved orange polishes.  We've done red http://glimpsesofthemoon.blogspot.com/2014/01/10-most-loved-red-polishes.html and we've done pinks http://glimpsesofthemoon.blogspot.com/2014/01/10-most-loved-pink-polishes.html and we're moving on to orange.  I have 10 oranges picked out for you today that I find especially nice.  If you want to watch the video of live application of each polish, simply watch that here

Or you can go to my youtube channel and find it there, along with many other videos: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbls8_c-01u9XbpKvL7b2Sw/videos

Here are the swatches for you of each of the polishes I featured in the video:

Avon Mandarin Magic is a bright tangerine with gold/green shimmer.  Simply radiant and easy to apply in two coats, this one is a definite stand out, even among close dupes.  I thought this brand did a great job with their collections this last year and hopefully 2014 has the same effort on their part because they usually have an above-par formula.

China Glaze Mimosas Before Manis is a peach polish with delicious shimmer.  This is so complimentary and can be worn in any occasion.  Definitely classed among the non-obnoxious oranges, this two-coater is creamy and really something special.

Color Club Sparkle and Soar is very similar to Mandarin Magic, but as you can see, it is more golden due to it being more densely shimmered.  This is two coats and I can't help but stare at it :)

Amour '72 Convertible Stingray is representing for the paler, more yellow-based orange creams out there. This one doesn't have the best formula, but the color is so interesting.  This may not be everyone's cup of tea but there was something so unexpected about this one once I got it on my nails, that I really took to it.  As with the rest of these swatches, this is two coats.

Maybelline Coral Glow is so divine.  Coral is definitely my favorite way to do orange, and this one has very fine golden shimmer in it that it really does look like its glowing.  You can catch a glimpse of the shimmer there in the bottle as it translates on the nail in person.  So, so beautiful, and easy to apply in two coats.

OPI A Woman's Prague-ative is such a stand-out.  OPI was not shy of going way into orange territory with this one and on the first coat it's a tad unimpressive, but once you have that base layer on, the second coat makes this shade really burn with intensity.  Impeccable formula and fabulous brush makes this polish ahead of the game.

Another fabulous orange from OPI, we have Deutch You Want Me Baby.  Completely different from her sister above, this one is deeper, and somehow more dangerous.  It looks like it's going to sting you and then you'll burn from its venom.  I really love this burnt red/orange- another ball hit out of the park.

What would a top 10 orange post be without some fabulous neon orange polishes, and here is the first- Savina Orange Blast.  This neon is so stupendous- you don't need to base it with a layer or two of white polish, it stands on its own two feet and simply sears through everything.  If you want megawatt pow- go with this little lady!

Zoya Dhara is our textured polish representative.  I just love how Zoya does their textured polish, so clean and fresh, and an orange with gold shimmer is simply stunning.  Love it- and again- this is two coats.

Lastly we have Spoiled Jail Bait which made it to the top because it is truly an impressive neon, it is super budget friendly(under two bucks) and the color and name are so spot on.  This is pictured at two coats over one coat of white polish to make the color pop and not be able to see the nail line, but on its own it is powerful as well, as you can see in the live application in the video above.  Love this one- it's a no-brainer.

There you have it- if I'm going to wear orange polish, it's probably going to be one of these 10.  I hope you enjoyed my pics and tell me what your favorite orange polish is so I can check it out!
