Saturday Random Swatchfest: 2/15/2014

Hi lovelies!! It's Saturday again, and you know what that means.  Time for 10 random swatches from my swatched folder.  Each of these ten little ladies hasn't been featured on my blog yet so its their chance to shine.  Let's take a look:
Revlon Ignite is sooo beautiful with it's faint gold shimmer running throughout.  It's like a slightly-orange red and it has so much fire within...which is probably why it has the name it does.  I think I picked this one up on clearance so I hope you can still find it if you love it.  Honestly, in my opinion, the top speed line is a little pricey for the quality of polish, so I only ever pick it up when it's on sale.  This one was a real winner though at two coats.  A

Spoiled Everyone's A-tomic is a fabulous orange/red crelly.  You're looking at two coats- but they were thick coats in order to get the opacity.  I really enjoy this shade.  It's spicy and beautiful.  If you enjoy orange polish, you'll love this one- and it's under two bucks at CVS.  A

NYC Lincoln Square Lavender is a great budget-friendly pink/rose cream.  This is two coats, and it's rare for me to be disappointed by a polish from NYC.  They give you a great product for a low price.  As you know, I don't often wear pink polish because it doesn't appeal to me as much as any other shade, but if you love it- I'm here to show you this one; it's great.  A

Nicole by OPI Sea How Far You Go is so lovely!  It's this green/gold shimmer/duochrome that I found in a Christmas gift set pairing at Marshalls.  As you can see, it's not quite opaque at two coats but still, I find it to be unique and very special.  I love the combination of green and gold.  A-

China Glaze Highlight of My Summer is a neon minty green and you're looking at two coats here.  I didn't layer it over a base of white, as you can see, but if you want the color to be even more powerful, you may want to do that.  This wasn't the easiest polish to work with, I'll admit that, but the color is just so divine, I can't fault it too much.  I still give it an A.

Sinful Colors New Wave is a gorgeous navy cream and you're looking at two coats here.  This polish came to us from the Sail la Vie collection last year, which pumped out a handful of amazing blues.  I loved finding a navy blue that isn't so dark that it looks like a black polish.  Love this one.  A

Color Club Secret Agent is this fabulously-hued violet.  I really love this color but I don't really love the finish so it's kind of a toss-up :(  On the nail this little baby is so vibrant and so stand out, but I really wish it had been a cream or crelly polish.  You're looking at two coats, and it applied well.  I guess I give it a B+ just because I would pick a different finish.

Nailtini Caviar Coctail is this gunmetal frost that I actually really didn't care for.  I received this in an Ipsy bag a few months back, and often you do receive great polishes, as you will learn about in my final color in this post, but this one was no bueno.  It might be someone else's cup of tea, but it's really not mine.  The color is too dirty and the finish shows every brush stroke.  However, the formula was great- it was practically a one-coater so that's a good thing to know about this brand- it is a high quality product.  B

Sephora by OPI Blasted Turquoise Glitter was so random.  I thought I was purchasing a regular sky blue finely-milled glitter but this was a cracked effect polish, and not really a good one...This really needed to have some kind warning that it was an effect polish for people as dense as me..."blasted" in the title didn't give it away to me.  I was not a fan of this polish... and when you do purchase polish out of the clearance bins, this is the risk you take lol.  I give it a C-

Zoya Odette is my A+ color this week.  I received this polish in my February Ipsy bag and I was OBSESSED with it all week!  It's this gorgeous mauve plum that is so smooth and creamy, just like most Zoya polishes.  This one is from the recently released Naturel collection and I love it so!  If you are unaware- the Ipsy bag is a monthly subscription service where you receive 5 items each month from different beauty companies based on a personal style profile you complete on the website.  The service costs 10 dollars for the whole bag and shipping is included.  It's a super cost-friendly way to try new products and I suggest it to anyone.  Here's a link if you wanna check it out: http://www.ipsy.com/r/7mkj and I just want to say, I am no way sponsored by this company, I just genuinely like the service :)

That's it!  Another roundup of great and some not-so-great polishes out there.  Which was your favorite of my random pics?  What were you wearing and loving this week that I should know about?  Share with me :)
I'll see you back tomorrow!  Until then, hugs from me to you.
